Excipients:

⦁ Gelatin
These vaginal ovules exerts fungicidal and fungistatic effects on dermatophytes which are responsible for most fungal skin infections, dimorphous fungi, pathogenic yeasts and moulds. Lomexin T Ovules are also indicated for the treatment of gram-positive bacterial infetion and mycoses. It is active against Trichomonas vaginalis (both vivo and vitro).
Indications
Lomexin T (Fenticonazole nitrate) ovules are indicated for vaginal infections sustained by Candida albicans and Trichomonas vaginalis.
Gential candidiasis like colpitis, vulvovaginitis, and fluroinfective are also treated by these vaginal ovules.
Contraindications
This medicine is contraindicated for you, if you have any Hypersensitivity to any ingredient of Lomexin T (fenticonazole nitrate) vaginal ovules. Pregnant and breast feeding mothers should consult their doctor before using any kind of medication (including fenticonazole nitrate ovules).
Dosage & Administration
For Mixed Trichomonas and Candida albicans Vaginal Infection
Place one LOMEXIN T (Fenticonazole nitrate) vaginal ovule of 1000 mg in vagina and pushed well towards the fornix. The second dose should be given after 24 hours of first administration.
For Candida Albicans Vaginal Infection
For Candida albicans, place one fenticonazole nitrate ovule of 1000 mg in the evening and repeat it after three days.
Adverse Reactions
By using LOMEXIN T (Fenticonazole Nitrate) Vaginal ovules very rare Erythematous reactions have been reported. Although, fenticonazole nitrate is well tolerated by the mucous membranes. If the resistant micro-organisms develop or persistant irritation occur, immediately consult your doctor. After vaginal administration of LOMEXIN T OVULES an burning sensation may occur which will subsides soon but if it increases then you must visit back to your doctor and consult it.
